South Shore Hospital, a vibrant 374-bed community hospital and level 2 Trauma center, seeks Board Eligible/Board Certified Anesthesiologists to join our growing team. Full Time, Part Time, or Per Diem opportunities available.
Our Department of Anesthesia is a diverse and collegial group of physicians who perform a case mix by both MD solo and CRNA supervision. Case mix includes vascular, ortho, general, gyn, thoracic, neuro, healthy peds, and obstetric.
We are looking for well-trained, enthusiastic, collegial team players with current ACLS certification to join our dynamic hospital-based practice. We provide an excellent compensation package including a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, as well as 7 weeks' vacation and an additional week for CME.
Essential Functions: Monitor patient before, during, and after anesthesiaManage complications of anesthesia postoperativelyManage post-operative painManage labor analgesiaConsult and collaborate with other services for care of patientsRespond to codes and aid in resuscitationRespond and care for trauma patientsDeliver anesthesia care outside of an operating room serviceWeymouth and the South Shore provide a myriad of recreational opportunities while still being within a 30-minute drive to Boston and an hour to beautiful Cape Cod beaches.
