Gatehouse Operative

Job Description Shift :  4ON 4OFF Days.
To control and log the movement of vehicles on and off site whilst carrying out specific tasks that will include vehicle temperature checks and random vehicle searches.
To ensure vehicles coming on and off site are correctly logged whilst ensuring no unauthorised vehicles are able to enter the premises without permission.
To document all vehicle movements as per training ensuring that no goods vehicle can leave site without first having their vehicle checked for temperature and compliance.
To carry out random vehicle stop & searches as instructed and reporting any unauthorised removal of goods from site as well as no unauthorised goods being allowed on site To remain vigilant at all times in matters of site security reporting any suspicious vehicle activity to the site management team.
To ensure despatched loads are in a secure state before leaving the premises To work to the standards required by the Company Ensure all practices and procedures are carried out in line with Company Health & Safety policy and HACCP.
This list is not exhaustive and the job holder may be required to undertake other duties commensurate with the position as required Qualifications Ability to work to challenging deadlines in a pressurised environment Flexibility Self-disciplined and motivated Customer Orientation Thoroughness/ Attention to detail Basic Knowledge of MS Office package.
