Together, we're searing for an Engineering Planner to join the team.
The Engineering Planner will be responsible for scheduling preventive and reactive maintenance on a variety of on-site machinery.
Working closely with the Production Manager and the rest of the shop-floor team, it is crucial that the Engineering Planner keeps detailed logs of parts, upcoming and possible future maintenance.
Attention to detail, meticulous organisation and ability to communicate change is essential for this role.
The Engineering Planner will be solely responsible for preparing the team and the site for the company's weekly and monthly maintenance schedules and to assist in the completion of planned maintenance activities, ad-hoc repairs, and statutory inspections.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Engineering Planner: Use of the CMMS system Shire to ensure both preventive and reactive work is planned effectively.
Use the CMMS system to keep our maintenance records up to date.
Issue work orders to the teams and monitor completion and progress against tasks.
Day to day planning of reactive tasks in line with business needs.
