We are working with a large sized, award-winning engineering consultancy specialising in Building Services who are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Manchester.
Our client has a wealth of experience and have built a reputation for innovative design and sustainable solutions that enhance the built environment.
Their team of passionate professionals work on a diverse range of projects, from iconic landmarks to cutting-edge developments.
Tasks Lead and manage electrical design projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet the highest technical and quality standards.
Collaborate with the MEP Projects team to develop integrated design solutions that align with the project's goals and objectives.
Conduct detailed electrical calculations, system design, and specifications to deliver efficient and sustainable solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Interface with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress and design recommendations.
Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and standards to ensure designs are compliant and incorporate the latest technologies.
Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering design, with a strong background in building services.
Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or actively working towards it is a bonus.
Proficiency in using industry-standard design software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient design practices is highly desirable.
Membership in a relevant professional institution (e.g., IET, CIBSE) is an advantage.
