Job overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Medical Secretary position at Fordcombe Hospital.
You will be experienced and motivated and have an excellent range of PA and Secretarial skills; ideally including a solid knowledge of medical terminology - though this is not essential and accurate audio typing skills.You must have a flexible approach to the needs of the service and demonstrate excellent typing, communication, organisational, administrative and interpersonal skills, a good telephone manner and a caring attitude.
You should have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner.Please note, this site is very remote.
Main duties of the job You should be self-motivated with the ability to work in a busy and pressured environment.
You should be able to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, along with a flexible approach to duties.You should also hold relevant secretarial or audio typing qualifications and have previous secretarial or PA experience.
Knowledge and experience within the Health sector would be beneficial but not essential.
