Job summary The post holder will be responsible for promoting, delivering, and facilitatingvarious programmes directed by management as part of the School-AgedImmunisation Service assisting nurses in the schools or office.

Job description Job responsibilities Promoteand facilitatecollaborative working between team, schools and other educational institutionsand families in the delivery of the immunisation programme.Ensurethe necessary requirements for storing and transporting immunisations, andthe procedures for collecting and delivering vaccinations to the site.Assistin identifying home-schooled children and those in Pupil Referral Units.Maintaindatabases to ensure records are kept up to date and documents areprepared for school visits Adhereto the Standard OperatingProcedure for School Immunisation (SOPs)Firstpoint of contact for alladministrative tasks Responsible for maintaining the cold chain, ordering,and arranging transport of vaccinations to site.
Actively andconstructively contribute to team meetings.Undertakeother duties commensurate with the level of this position Comply with Company policies & procedures Person Specification Knowledge and skills Essential Prioritise and manage own workload without supervision.
Assertive, team player and critical thinker.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Excellent IT Skills.
Must be able to drive.
Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills.
Desirable Must be able to drive (Desirable).
Experience Desirable Working in a community setting (schools) and/or working with children & young people Qualifications Essential GCSE level of education or equivalent with minimum of grade C in both English and Maths
