About This Role As a Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant, you will support the geography department in delivering engaging lessons and assisting students of different abilities.
Key responsibilities include: Assisting with lesson planning and preparation to deliver an engaging geography curriculum Supporting students in understanding key geographical concepts such as climate change, urbanisation, and ecosystems Conducting small group sessions or one-on-one interventions to help students with exam preparation and coursework Facilitating practical activities, including map reading, data analysis, and fieldwork Encouraging enthusiasm for geography by supporting extracurricular activities like geography clubs or school trips In this role, you will be instrumental in helping students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, while gaining invaluable classroom experience.
Key Requirements: A 2:1 or higher degree in Geography or a related field  A strong interest in education and a passion for geography Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with students and staff Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential Why Apply?
