The Role As an Audit Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Your expertise will help clients achieve their goals while contributing to the firm's growth.
Key Responsibilities Portfolio Management: Plan, control, and review client work to ensure efficiency.
Conduct pre-audit meetings, prepare time budgets, and review detailed planning memos.
Supervise audit teams, review work, and monitor job profitability.
Draft management letters, finalize accounts, and prepare fee schedules.
Team Leadership: Provide training, mentorship, and feedback to develop team members.
Conduct appraisals and address day-to-day staffing needs.
Promote collaboration and maintain a positive working environment.
Business Development: Identify opportunities for additional client services and referrals.
Participate in tenders, presentations, and advisory projects.
Encourage cross-team collaboration to deliver holistic client solutions.
Qualifications & Skills Fully qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in external audit and general practice.
Strong understanding of corporate tax and company work.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, with experience in Sage, CaseWare, and tax software preferred.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and a focus on client satisfaction.
Commercial acumen and the ability to provide practical solutions to complex business challenges.
