About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate History Teacher to join a well-regarded school in Milton Keynes. This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, providing an excellent pathway for professional growth and long-term opportunities within the school.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in inspiring students to explore and appreciate the richness of history while delivering engaging lessons that foster academic success.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, and deliver high-quality history lessons aligned with the national curriculum. Inspire a love of history and critical thinking among students. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement. Create an inclusive classroom environment that caters to the needs of all learners. Contribute to the development of the history curriculum and departmental initiatives. Participate in school events and activities to enrich the broader educational experience. Candidate RequirementsA recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or equivalent). Demonstrable subject knowledge and passion for teaching history. Strong classroom management and organisational skills. The ability to inspire and engage students of varying abilities. A commitment to the academic and personal development of all students.
