Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant wanted for Primary Schools in Cambridge

Job Duties:
Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom Assist the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment Support students with their academic and personal development Work one-on-one or with small groups of students as needed Collaborate with other staff members to ensure students' needs are met
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN Understanding of SEN strategies and techniques
Education:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
Experience:
Experience working in a school or educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Training in specific SEN areas such as autism or ADHD
Working Conditions:
Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Work primarily in a classroom setting May require some physical activity and assisting students with mobility Opportunity for professional development and training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
