UK NMC Registration is required.This is a permanent, part-time post of 22 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday.Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.It is desirable for potential candidates to hold a full driving license.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a lead role in the development and integration of treatment and care services within East Dunbartonshire HSCP.
The post holder will provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to all age groups within the treatment room setting while working in partnership with other members of the primary health care team and service users.
An autonomous practitioner; the post holder will have clinical lead responsibility and be accountable for co-ordination of activities and staff within treatment and care services.
As a clinical leader, the post holder will lead and motivate the nursing team to deliver a high quality nursing service within treatment and care services throughout East Dunbartonshire by using in depth knowledge, proficiency and experience.
Minimum requirements include Part 1 NMC Registration with a relevant post-registration qualification or considerable relevant experience; evidence of continuing professional development; IT skills; excellent communication skills; ability to work to deadlines; ability to work on own initiative; problem solving skills; leadership and management skills; ability to work as part of a team; previous experience in a primary care/community/clinic setting.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.
This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
