Engineering Supervisor Welwyn Garden City £55,000 Join our client on a Critical, state of the art, commercial property in Hertfordshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineering Supervisor looking to avoid the hassle of commuting to Central London, this role provides a great salary, High Voltage training, internal progression and valuable experience.
This role will consist of undergoing PPM and Reactive maintenance on Electrical and Mechanical equipment on site, oversee the work of another shift engineer, liaise with subcontractors and strengthen relations with the client.
The hours for this role are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm The successful candidate will be fully qualified in electrical installations, (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) with at least 5 years prior experience in ideally a critical or commercial maintenance and a client facing attitude.
Duties: PPMs & Reactive maintenance Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation Organising subcontractors Quotations Health & Safety Logbooks Risk assessments Permits to work Requirements: City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations At least 5 years prior experience in commercial maintenance Experience in High Voltage switching / scheduling - Desirable Experience in critical environments - Desirable Career driven and motivated Polite and personable Salary and Benefits: £55,000 Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm High Voltage training provided Avoid the hassle of commuting to London Continental shift pattern (Days and nights) 22 days annual leave entitlement Company pension Overtime readily available Join a large building service provider Valuable experience in a critical environment If you are interested in the role above and would like to know more information, please apply today with an up to date CV and contact information
