Are you the right person for the job?
You will already hold QCF Level 3 Children and Young People and have gained experience of working within a Children's Residential Setting.
Once settled, together we will produce a Personal Development Plan and arrangements will be made with respect to appropriate training.
A full UK Driver's License is required for this position.
What will your role look like?
Organising and managing the shift in such a way as to maintain the safety of both children and young people and staff in compliance with regulation.
Developing, reviewing, and acting upon individual care/pathway plans.
Contributing to discussions with Social Workers as appropriate, CLA meetings, Education meetings etc.
Liaising as appropriate with the young person's family.
Providing appropriate care within the home, in line with the home's Statement of Purpose and the agreed individual care/pathway plans to include: Providing general daily care to young people, including as necessary meal preparation and supervision, laundry, cleaning, supervision of social activities etc.
Maintaining comprehensive records/reports for key young people.
Mentoring new staff.
Promoting the ethos of the home.
Acting as a positive role model.
What can you expect in return?
Market leading rates of pay.
Paid Overtime (125% of contracted hourly rate).
Overtime Bonus (£100 for every 50 hours of overtime completed).
£50 per night sleep allowance when required (approx.
value £3,300).
224 hours annual leave (28 days).
Rolling Rota (2 days in work, 4 days off) Company pension.
