Team Underwriting & Claims - Life Working Pattern - Remote role.Full time, 37.5 hours per week.

What this role is all about: You will be underwriting applications for life & serious illness and income protection cover.
Providing dedicated support in some instances to Vitality Life priority distribution partners.
Some limited travel to adviser offices will be required.
Key Actions Underwrite applications in accordance with Vitality's underwriting philosophy and quality standards.
Meet and support brokers to help manage applications through the underwriting process.
Liaise with our reinsurers to ensure successful placement of business.
Educate sales teams on underwriting process and practice.
Authorisation of applications from less experienced underwriters.
Opportunity to feed into Vitalitys underwriting & service propositions.
What do you need to thrive?
Broad experience of life underwriting, at least 5 years.
Exposure to reinsurance relationships.
Experience of working with adviser firms.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
