A popular and well-regarded school in Bolton is recruiting a KS3 and 4 Science Teacher starting after February half-term.
This is a one-year contract covering a maternity leave.
The school has an excellent leadership team who are often at the forefront of new initiatives and share best practice with other schools in the area.
There is a real ethos of working as a team and supporting colleagues evident across the school.
The school is in a deprived area and some pupils come from very difficult backgrounds so pastoral care is especially important here, staff have the welfare and progress of pupils at heart and this governs the way the school operates on a daily basis.
The Science department are supportive and resources and best practice are shared as a matter of course.
This is a small, school rated 'Outstanding' in the last Ofsted Report.

Role of a Science Teacher Teaching Science to GCSE level.
Planning and preparing lessons, delivering and assessing lessons.
Working alongside the HoD.
Experience/Skills Needed Previous experience of teaching Science at GCSE level.
Initiative, flexibility and the ability to manage challenging behaviour.
