The successful Field Service Engineer will be akey member of the customer support team and will travel to customer sites to perform services.
These services include calibration and repair of NSI-MI equipment.
The Field Service Engineer must demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent communication, time management, planning, and organizational skills.
Provide professional responses in a timely manner to all customers Support customer test/production facilities on regularly scheduled or as-required basis for calibrations other services Perform precision system alignment of multiple axes using laser tracker or other optical tools to accuracies in the order of 10 m Exhibit excellent diagnostic abilities to isolate issues and repair equipment Ability to analyze diverse requirements in RF/Microwave measurements with a good understanding of mechanical systems Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and software Prepare and comprehensive Field Service Reports, Calibration Certificates, and other documentation in a timely manner Manage time and priorities so that tasks are completed on or ahead of schedule To be successful in this role of Field Service Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of: Must be able to work and troubleshoot independently with minimum supervision Tactfully handle difficult situations and maintain composure under pressure Excellent verbal and written communication skills Troubleshooting system level electronic systems Ability to read schematic diagrams and engineering drawings ACS are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer.
