Job Description Dementia Support Worker - Transform the lives of our resident living with dementia
Location: Haviland House, Goring By Sea Contracted Hours: 36 - 42 hours per week, full-time Salary: £12 per hour Mon - Fri, £12.60 Sat & £13.20 Sun Working Hours: 8am - 8pm, alternative weekends required About the role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dementia Support Worker to join our team at Haviland House.

About The Role Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, person-centred care with sensitivity, dignity, and respect.
Create positive social interactions and ensure a stimulating, homely atmosphere.
Support the emotional and physical needs of individuals and their families.
Collaborate with the team to minimise neutral care and promote a flexible, spontaneous approach.
Maintain accurate care records that reflect person-centred practices.
What we are looking for: Essential: A warm, imaginative, and engaging personality.
Experience of supporting people living with dementia.
Non-judgemental and respectful of others' viewpoints.
Commitment to meeting Care Certificate requirements.
Willingness to work unsocial hours, ensuring year-round coverage.
Satisfactory DBS check.
Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) with relevant dementia care units, or willingness to work towards it.
Knowledge of dementia care, mental capacity, deprivation of liberty safeguards, and the Care Act 2014.
Experience in residential dementia care settings.
