Job summary An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced registered nurse or registered health professional to join our Clinical Skills and Simulation Team as a Practice Trainer, working across Northern Care Alliance.
Based in Salford, you will training and supporting staff to provide the best care for patients.
This post will provide the successful applicant the opportunity to develop their existing skills and acquire new set of skills as a Band 6 Practice Trainer.
Full Time position hours- part time considered.
You should have a wide range of clinical skills and an interest in teaching, training and supporting staff to be the best for patients.
Key responsibilities and characteristics: The ability to travel to different geographical locations across the Trust footprint in line with service team player and flexibility to deliver clinical skills and simulation training to multidisciplinary staff.Delivery of ward based training across the NCA.Clinical skills include Tracheotomy, ECG, Venepuncture , Patient Observations, Calculation of courses that improve patient care for example sepsis, deteriorating patient.Maintenance of meticulous records.Supporting staff with learning needs.Completing a learning needs analysis.Liaising with all key stakeholders.Improving the patient experience.
