Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.
Role purpose Bridges is looking for a Project Coordinator to work on our Frameworks with Thames Water and Southern Water; delivering planned and reactive engineering projects on water and wastewater sites in the Greater London and Southern Water regions.
This role will bring value to the team through the support of Project Managers in the delivery of their projects across the region.
The Role This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home (although client meetings take precedence).
The first few weeks will be in the office full-time until you are ready to take ownership of your work.
You will be located within a commutable distance to our Midsomer Norton offices.
The role will include travel to and from client sites.
Communication with staff and subcontractors working on assigned projects Take responsibility for the health & safety of self and all under your control Assist Project Managers with project expenditure, and the creation and management of Project Documentation Keep project programmes up to date Work within a monthly project reporting structure Liaison with internal and external stakeholders Proactively manage the impact on and protection of the environment.
Requirements Experience in using planning software such as Microsoft Project Ability to analyse project performance and produce project reports Full UK driving license and own car; driving to client sites will be part of this role.
