Job summary As a Care Home Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll carry out a range of tasks that help provide the quality care the residents deserve.

Main duties of the job The Care Home Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including cooking meals, keeping the environment well-maintained, and spending one-on-one time with the residents.
You'll need excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a positive, can-do attitude.
Some experience in care, housekeeping or catering is preferred, but training will be provided.

You should be practical and willing to turn your hand to different tasks, ready to adapt to all sorts of different situations.
