Central to this journey will be the recruitment of additional Psychiatrists who will provide leadership and expertise that complement the skills of a wide range of other experienced CAMHS professionals as part of our rapidly developing service in North Wales Main duties of the job We are looking to appoint a Specialty Doctor to work within our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service with a keen interest in service development and clinical leadership to enhance our focus on seamlessly integrating early intervention and prevention, community services and our highly specialised Tier 4 services.
We are happy to consider flexible working, with a job plan to meet the needs of the individual.
We will also welcome candidates with subspecialty interests and we are keen to discuss your requirements.

Person Specification Professional Qualifications Essential Registration on GMC Specialist Register or Specialist Registrar able to take up post within 3 months of completing CSST MRCPscych Approved Clinician in Wales Experience Essential Experience of working in Community CAMHS settings Skills and Abilities Essential Diagnosis and treatment of Mental illness in Children and Adolescents in a multi-disciplinary team setting Demonstrate ability to manage time effectively Desirable Skills in social psychological and behavioural therapies Welsh Speaker Knowledge/Research Essential Knowledge of Children Act (1989) Knowledge of Mental Health Act (1983) Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act (2005) Desirable Knowledge of Mental Health Wales Measure 2010 Personal Skills Essential Excellent communication skills Effective leadership Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team Desirable Basic IT skills (essential within 6 months) Other Requirements Essential Approved training status Section 12 (2) approval and a willingness to undertake training to become an Approved Clinician in Wales.
