Job Role: Engineering Stores Coordinator Client: Global Cctegory Leading Manufacturer in retail Consumer Goods Job Type: Temporary to permanent ,weekly contract to start with Monday - Friday Days, flexible on start / finish times , 40 hour week, ideally 8-4 but flexible Salary: £14 - £18 PH target range Contract: TEMP - PERM Location: Pontefract / Castleford area Reporting to the Site Engineering Facilities Manager and responsible for the Maintenance stores processes to enable delivery of the Business objectives against factory Key Performance Indicators Lead the Engineering Stores and delivery against KPI's which contribute to the Site delivery targets Correlate all existing data on the system with what is in stock To maintain a well-organized and safe engineering stores in support of minimizing equipment downtime and improving performance To achieve site Key Performance Indicators (KPI`s) with respect to stock value, accuracy, stock turns & consignment stock Lead the Engineering Stores and establish processes and ways of working for a 24/7 site Develop the Engineering Stores capabilities Adhere to and implement robust stock management and controls, identifying continuous improvement opportunities to ensure the needs of the site are met To proactively source alternative components, engineered parts and suppliers that can meet the technical standards To manage the complete end-to-end return of defective parts/non-conforming parts Check deliveries and receipt of goods into the computer systems To update and maintain a computerized stocking system for all material movements Organise parts for specific maintenance tasks/shutdown work Qualifications and Requirements – Engineering Stores Coordinator With 2-3 years experience in engineering or stores management environment Open to industry background Experienced in systems for data input Good level of literacy/numeracy Computer literate – Excel, Word, Outlook etc IT skills including familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations Manual handling preferred What we can offer – Engineering Stores Coordinator competitive salary A fast-paced and challenging work environment Wellbeing resources For more information on this awesome role, please contact (url removed) Candidates who are currently a Stores Engineer, Engineering Storesman, Maintenance Stores Co-ordinator, Stores Administrator, Engineering Administrator, Stores person, Maintenance Co-ordinator and Engineering Stores Manager , Supply chain co-ordinator, and any equivalent background will be suitable for the role.
