Were seeking a Site General Manager for our Port in Greenock.
Your role In this role you will lead your team to support and influence the achievement of financial performance objectives, ensure high standards of health and safety are achieved and excellent customer service is delivered.
Reporting to the Deputy Port Director, you will manage the financial performance of the Port of Greenock business unit, identifying and resolving variances to ensure revenue and costs are optimised.
You will monitor and control EHS requirements, focusing on ensuring the working environment is safe.
You will also build strong relationships across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including customers, trade union, suppliers and shipping lines, to ensure the delivery of optimum customer service.
What you'll bring You will have extensive leadership skills and experience in a logistics, operations or manufacturing environment.
You will be an excellent team player with the ability to lead, influence, coach and develop your team.
You will demonstrate strong commercial acumen with proven experience of meeting and exceeding revenue and EBITDA targets alongside operational excellence.
