Job Introduction Cleaning Operative at St Joes AP, Miller Street, Eccles, M30 8PFApproved Premises (APs) contribute to the effective risk management of people released from prison by providing an enhanced level of supervision, monitoring and rehabilitation within the community.
The post will provide you experience of working with complex and vulnerable people and an understanding of residential setting within the Criminal Justice System.
Join Sodexo and be part of something greater, you'll belong to a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way and aid the rebuilding of many lives, everyday.What you'll do:Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasksPeriodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, communal areas are cleaned and are presentableReplenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soapsYou'll work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards.. whilst also helping maintain the cleanliness of their areas tooThis role requires you to have an approachable attitudeWhat you bring:Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential- our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safetyExcellent customer service and communication skills Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed Be a team player and take instruction What we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to?be part of something greater.
