Prospero Teaching is looking for a Key stage 2 tutor to deliver individual specialist tuition to Primary students who are currently out of education.
As a tutor, you will promote and support the education of children, many of these will require additional support, and perhaps even at risk of permanent exclusion.
You will be required to focus on boosting progress, confidence and independence, offering structure into their daily routine.
This opportunity is ideal for teachers looking to step away from the classroom, and offer more personalised lessons.
Prospero Teaching will work with you closely to monitor the progression with each pupil and support effective learning.
Location - Billericay Position - KS2 Tutor Type of work - Contract Start date - ASAP Duration / Likely Duration - Until the student is reintegrated into school.
End date (if applicable) - Ongoing Contract type - Temporary Full time/part time - Part time and full time depending on availability Rate of Pay - £25 per hour Hours - Working hours can differentiate, minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent 6 months experience working in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching in order to fill this vacancy.
Any adult working with children and vulnerable young people are responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of the children and young people.
