Key Responsibilities : Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities.
Assisting individual students or small groups, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN) or behavioural challenges.
Helping to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all children can thrive.
Encouraging the development of social skills, emotional wellbeing, and positive behaviour.
Building strong, supportive relationships with students to boost their confidence and motivation.
Helping with administrative tasks such as preparing classroom resources and setting up activities.
What We're Looking For : Previous youth work experience (voluntary or professional) working with children or young people.
A passion for supporting children's development in both educational and social contexts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, teachers, and parents.
A positive, proactive attitude with a strong commitment to making a difference in children's lives.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively.
A desire to further develop your career in education and make an impact in the classroom.
