None of this would be possible without striving to be an employer of choice, where our colleagues are proud to represent our business.Role DescriptionThe Opportunity:Princes Bradford is our largest drinks manufacturing site in the UK producing 26 million cases of Dilute and Carbonated drinks per year for own label retail sale and for well-known brands.
We are now excited to confirm that we have established a partnership with Capri-Sun which will bring the production of the iconic and much loved brand, Capri-Sun, home to our Bradford site.Initial production on 2 lines commenced in October and on full completion in March there will be 4 production lines, each capable of 20, pouches per hour operating days per year from our bespoke unit.Due to this exciting expansion, we are now looking for multiple Production Operatives who are passionate about manufacturing and committed to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment, to join us on this exciting journey.

This role is located within a new area of the site dedicated to the co manufacture of Capri Sun product, there will be 4 lines, each capable of 20, pouches per hour.To elevate our production systems to high levels of reliability and flexibility, we need to recruit high calibre, experienced operators or people with the right background to train at our Bradford site to lead this work within an autonomous team environment.
What to expect:You will play a key role in the operations supporting the effective training and upskilling of both Princes and agency staff and become part of a successful production team.
Working on a shift based flexible 24/7 days and night's pattern, we are looking to increase operator skill to add depth to our operational teams.You will work as part of a wider line team supported by a team leader, line engineer and Technical Operator.Your work will ensure that we deliver high standards of quality at low waste levels working within a safe environment.This operational role requires you to carry out operational activities, which include the ordering and loading of materials into our filling, packaging and palletising machines, and basic machine fault finding and rectification.You will ensure, through your attention to detail, that your work area hygiene is maintained to a high standard and execute established cleaning, inspection and lubrication routines.
You will also ensure the quality of our products, through both hands on inspection and on-line analytical measurement of our product and packaging.In addition, you will execute machine changeovers to a set of standards, to ensure that we produce the variations on packs and flavours our customers require, when they require them.You will carry out basic machine asset care to keep machines in good working order.
You will also monitor and report on performance and optimise machine set up to ensure we maximise quality and output and reduce waste.This role requires operational focus, a good understanding and awareness of monitoring and control systems, and a good understanding of manufacturing processes.You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills, teamwork, the ability to get things done quickly and efficiently and have a strong drive for results.
Role RequirementsSkills & Essentials:GCSE Math's and English, or equivalent is required, as well as good PC skillsMachine operating, setting and adjustment skillsPrevious experience of working within a FMCG and Quality Control environment, and to have worked within a shift-based role in a manufacturing environment would be beneficialFormal technical qualifications are desirable but not essential as training will be givenThis type of role will suit the person who is looking for a career and not a job.
