**   Job Title: Industrial Relations Partner (6-month FTC)   Location: Home-based with travel to our Head Office in Bolton approximately twice a month.
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum   Hours: 9-5, Monday to Friday   Contract: 6-month FTC   UK applicants only.
This role does not offer sponsorship.
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Partner to join Outcomes First Group (OFG) on a six-month fixed-term contract, focusing exclusively on developing a robust industrial relations strategy .
This role is critical as we navigate potential future changes in the regulatory landscape, including the impact of the change in government.
This position will play a key role in ensuring our organisation is prepared, proactive, and compliant with any evolving industrial relations expectations.
The successful candidate will lead the creation of an industrial relations framework that aligns with OFG's commitment to staff engagement, compliance, and operational excellence.
Working closely with senior leaders, this role will ensure that we are well-positioned to manage workforce relations effectively while supporting our mission to improve lives through education and care.
Key Accountabilities **Strategy Development:**Design and deliver an industrial relations strategy that prepares OFG for future changes in employment regulations, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
**Risk Mitigation:**Assess and identify potential risks related to industrial relations, including the implications of changes in government policy, and develop actionable solutions to mitigate these risks.
**Policy Development:**Develop and implement policies that support effective industrial relations management, ensuring they are clear, legally compliant, and aligned with organisational goals.
**Stakeholder Engagement:**Work with senior leadership and HR teams to provide strategic advice on workforce relations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
**Communication Framework:**Promote open and transparent communication channels between leadership and employees to enhance staff engagement and trust.
**Preparation for Future Needs:**Develop contingency plans and a readiness framework for managing industrial relations in a changing regulatory environment.
Requirements Technical Skills In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, including upcoming and potential changes in industrial relations regulations.
Proven ability to design and implement industrial relations strategies in complex organisations.
Strong skills in conflict management, dispute resolution, and risk assessment.
Experience in creating legally compliant policies that align with organisational goals.
Capability to analyse workforce trends and prepare detailed reports for senior leadership.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills to engage effectively with internal stakeholders.
Experience Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in an industrial relations or HR role, with a strong focus on strategy development.
Demonstrated experience in preparing organisations for changes in industrial relations regulations, including risk mitigation.
Experience working in regulated sectors or complex organisations, preferably in the education or care sector.
