As a key part of an Agile team, the Test Engineer will produce high quality software services to support in building better experiences for our customers and to support esure in becoming a data driven, digital first organisation.What you will do:
Work within an Agile squad that tests, builds and delivers industry leading software that focuses on the needs of our customersBuild high quality test automation and ensure the acceptance criteria for a product continue to be met over many future iterationsResponsible for the testing in your specific area and collaborate with product owners to build project backlog items with clear acceptance criteriaAnalyse changes being made and build test cases that provide appropriate test coverageWork to improve the capability and processes of the Quality Engineering team by suggesting and supporting improvements, sharing knowledge and driving gold standard software testing practicesQualificationsWe'd love you to have:
Significant Test automation experience with Java and SeleniumExperience of executing and checking both automated and manual testing and defect managementExperience testing distributed, scalable, and highly available systemsExperience of testing software in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similarBDD experience and ability to write and break down user storiesAn understanding of the wider Quality role required in order to improve quality across the full project delivery lifecycle and drive continuous improvementExposure to agile, SCRUM & Dev Ops delivery modelCollaboration tools:
