Job Title: 1:1 SEN LSA - Autism Location: East of England, Essex, Grays Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £83.85 - £85 per day Benefits: +£50 referral fee Job Description: Job Duties: Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) specifically focusing on Autism Implement individualised education plans and strategies to support the learning and development of students Assist with classroom activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to address the unique needs of each student Document and report on student progress and behaviour Required Qualifications: Experience working with children or young adults with Autism and SEN Understanding of SEN policies and procedures Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge of Autism and strategies to support individuals with Autism Strong behaviour management skills Preferred Qualifications: SEN qualification or relevant training First Aid certification Experience using Makaton or PECS Working Conditions: Fast-paced and dynamic educational environment Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents Potential for physical intervention and personal care assistance Adherence to safeguarding and health & safety policies All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
