The Trust is dedicated to improving patient care, with a focus on innovation and collaboration with local communities.
Contract: 1 Day per Week (Preferably Mondays or Tuesdays) Key Responsibilities: Deliver expert Hand Therapy services to patients with a variety of hand and wrist-related conditions, including both acute and chronic cases.
Work with patients across multiple disciplines, including acute elective, acute trauma, plastics, and rheumatology.
Provide bespoke splinting to meet individual patient needs.
Manage wounds, including removing stitches as required.
Develop personalized recovery and rehabilitation plans for a broad range of hand/wrist pathologies.
Independently manage a caseload while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Essential Requirements: Experience working in a Hand Therapy setting, with a sound understanding of hand pathologies and their management.
Proven ability to assess, treat, and support recovery for acute trauma and elective cases.
Experience in plastics and rheumatology hand therapy.
Competent in splinting and wound management.
Ability to develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans for patients.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively within the department.
