Our client, a well-respected food manufacturer based inNorth East London, is looking for an experienced QA Manager to oversee their quality assurance operations.
In this leadership role, you will drive the implementation of food safety and quality systems, ensuring that products consistently meet the highest industry standards.

The Role As QA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance activities across the manufacturing site.
You will lead a team of QA professionals, manage audits, and ensure that all products meet the companys high-quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Your leadership will drive continuous improvement in quality processes, helping to maintain a culture of food safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Lead QA Team: Manage and develop a team of quality assurance auditors and technicians, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they meet departmental objectives.
Quality System Oversight: Oversee and maintain the companys Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards.
Audit Management: Plan and lead internal audits, ensuring that all production and processes adhere to food safety standards and company policies.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the site meets all relevant food safety regulations (e.g., BRC, HACCP, ISO), and prepare for external audits and inspections from regulatory bodies and customers.
Non-Conformance and Corrective Actions: Oversee the identification and resolution of non-conformances, managing corrective and preventive actions to address any quality issues.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Review and analyze quality metrics, trends, and performance data to identify areas for improvement and provide regular reports to senior management.
Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve quality standards, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency, ensuring that the food manufacturing process is optimized for safety and quality.
Supplier and Customer Interaction: Manage relationships with suppliers and customers, ensuring product quality standards are met and addressing any quality concerns that arise.
Training & Development: Develop training programs to improve quality knowledge and skills across all departments, promoting a culture of food safety and quality awareness.
