Due to an increase in workload, our Colchester transport hub is seeking part time Delivery Drivers (known internally as Driver Guards).

Pay: £13.40 per hour, rising to £14.40 per hour after probation Hours: Multiple shift options available (weekends and/or weekdays) - working 10 hour day shifts on 1, 2 or 3 days per week (please specify your preferred shift pattern/contracted hours in the application form).
Our drivers are responsible for the safe handling and transportation of customer and company goods, whilst maintaining excellent levels of customer service.

The Role At Loomis, we understand that full-time positions arent for everyone.
Thats why we offer flexible shift options, such as weekends only or set days like Sunday to Tuesday or Saturday to Monday, so you can find a schedule that works best for you and your lifestyle.
As a Driver Guard , you'll play a key role in our service delivery, representing our business with professionalism and helping to maintain strong customer relationships.
You'll be responsible for the secure transportation of cash and valuables in an armoured vehicle between clients and destinations, ensuring high standards of service and safety.
You'll complete deliveries with precision, adhere to safety protocols, and perform vehicle checks before each journey to guarantee reliable service.

About You This isn't your typical delivery job - to be successful as a Driver Guard at Loomis UK, you'll need to bring more than just driving skills.
You'll be dependable, punctual, and great at communicating with customers, colleagues, and the public.
Being a team player with a positive, can-do attitude is essential.You'll also need to have a flexible approach to working hours (including weekends and bank holidays) and be happy to adapt to meet changing circumstances.

We also have some specific security criteria that you will need to meet: You must be able to pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks You must have verifiable 10-year employment/unemployment/educational history You must have a current UK driving licence You must be approved to attain an SIA licence.
Joining us with an existing SIA licence will automatically qualify you for the post-probation rate of pay, as well as a £1,000 bonus.
