We have an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join our Operational Finance team as Regional Financial Controller .
This role will be responsible for the financial management of all franchised hotel assets within their regional portfolio, visiting their relevant hotel cluster regularly and building key relationships with their relevant stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who has demonstrable experience of financial control across a variety of stakeholders within a multi-site hospitality business.
The Role : Reporting directly into the Head of Operational Finance (Franchised Hotels), the Regional Finance Controller will: Assume full ownership and accountability for the preparation of accurate historical accounts and monthly forecasts.
Be a key line of support to the Head of Operational Finance (Franchised Hotels) and the relevant General Managers within their cluster of hotels to drive robust financial performance.
Promote a consistent culture of inclusion, collaboration, challenge, accountability and governance.
Lead with energy to support the changing needs of each hotel, adapting and embedding agreed processes, controls and continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of key stakeholders, inclusive of Regional Operation Directors, Regional Teams and General Managers.
Lead the management accountancy function to ensure thorough and accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations, taking ownership of identifying and managing any potential business risk.
The Ideal Candidate: Previouis experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Solid, demonstrable experience in the insightful interpretation of financial information for operational and strategic decision making.
Ability to think both strategically and operationally and work in a clear, logical, decisive and impartial manner.
Commercial awareness and the ability to look beyond the numbers.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and work intuitively with a wide range of stakeholders.
