Job summary ProjectManager - Vaccination, Immunisations and Screening ProgrammesNHSGloucestershire Integrated Care BoardThe post holderwill be a member of vaccination, immunisations and screening team and workalongside the Assistant Director and Clinical Lead providing day to day projectsupport and a point of contact for our vaccination teams and GP practices.
Therole includes planning and day to day support for the team whilst supportingthe vaccination delivery programme across Gloucestershire.
A key prioritywill be the continued roll out of the Covid-19 and other vaccination andimmunisation programmes and how these existing programmes can be improvedacross the ICS.
This will build on existing good practice, reflecting changesto national policy and guidance and anticipated future delegation ofcommissioning responsibilities from NHSE to Gloucestershire ICB.
Main duties of the job Reporting tothe Assistant Director, the postholder will be a member of the Clinical andQuality Directorate and will have recent experience of working across multiple organisationswith a successful record of delivery, preferably in vaccinations.We are lookingfor enthusiasm and self-motivation to embrace the challenges of this role andcontinue the great work in delivering the Covid vaccination programme.
Thesuccessful applicant will provide a point of contact across the ICS andcontinue to build and maintain excellent collaborative working relationshipswith a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

The postholder will also support the deliveryof any new vaccines that become available as well as supporting any local andnational infection outbreaks, mobilising vaccination teams to ensure theprotection of the Gloucestershire population.
Supportand project manage the mobilisation of the future operating model for thedelegation of immunisation and screening programmes with the planned delegationof commissioning responsibilities from NHSE to the ICB in 2026.Supportthe vaccination teams within the ICB and provide administrative and projectsupport to the ICS Vaccination Delivery Group.Maintaineffective working relationships with primary, community and secondary carevaccination providers, and Public Health Gloucestershire, ensuring effectiveprocesses are in place to enable timely delivery of all public health vaccinesin line with national policy.Supportthe Assistant Director of Vaccination, Immunisation and Screening in their roleand provide cover during their absence.
Provideproject support and management for vaccine, immunisation and screeningprogramme delivery to colleagues in the ICB, those leading in Primary CareNetworks (PCNs) and general practice.Ensureaccurate records are maintained and that regional returns are submitted ontime.Supportproviders to deliver agreed national and local standards and targets.Providesupport on the assurance of planning and performance to the ICS.
Support qualityimprovement and transformation of services to achieve better outcomes for thepopulation secured through equity and fairness in respect of access andparticipation.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area.
Further training and experience to post graduate diploma level equivalent.
Experience in communications and stakeholder engagement.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Project ECDL and a range of computerised software.
Previous experience in similar role in public sector.
A good understanding of the health and social care environment and roles and responsibilities within it.
Desirable Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring the performance of health services.
Comprehensive knowledge of project management/monitoring.
Managerial knowledge, development and experience.
Knowledge of business case procedures and process.
Planning Skills Desirable Previous experience in project management and planning.
Human Resources and Management Skills Essential Provides day to day co-ordination and management for the vaccination programme.
Co-ordinate the mobilisation of vaccination teams Allocates work to staff, completes monthly sickness returns/manages team of staff.
Ability to engender trust and confidence and demonstrate integrity in the provision of advice and support.
Skills for managing projects ensuring they meet targets.
