The ability to organise your day and work as part of a team are also required.
Applicants should be confident, self-motivated and be able to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, along with a flexible approach to duties.

For further information, please contact, Anna Powell, email , NAHAU Service Manager Main duties of the job Be responsible for setting up clinics on the Tomcat system and highlight any patients that are about to breach to unit manager and AGM for all proceduresTo be responsible for the waiting lists for all diagnostic tests.
Cashing up of Pacemaker (PPM) and Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinics (RACPC) daily clinical activity to ensure we assist in payment by results, including coding for RACPC Record monthly figures for the unit to enable a working audit to assist with clinical governance protocols.
Compile and circulate the unit weekly activity lists to all site teams management leads / clinical leads within the speciality.
Awareness of RTT (referral to treatment) dates and planning admissions accordingly.
Booking patients into outpatient clinics as per trust policy to ensure meeting infection control and safety measures.
To maintain lists of cancellations and complete cancellation letters and ensure that the relevant consultant is informed to facilitate communication with the GP.
Liaise with other departments to ensure notes, referral letters, X-ray/scans are available when needed.
Implement any agreed changes ensuring most efficient and effective use of facilities within the department in order to maintain the highest standards Please note that this role may often attract a high level of applications.

Is a required super user and able to teach/share knowledge of the Tomcat reporting system to technicians Accountable for extracting Tomcat data for data submissions/audit.
Accountable for waiting lists of all Cardiac procedures including Pacemakers, Cardioversions, TOE's Angiograms and Angioplasty's.
Rotational cross site duties for invasive and non-invasive procedures covering Band 4, providing admin duties for annual leave, ensuring a full service.
Advanced administration skills, with secretarial or PA background Use of advanced keyboard skills Knowledge of Troubleshooting Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and entering and extracting data from databases Knowledge of dealing with distressed and nervous patients and their relatives.
Knowledge of dealing with complex questions and advice from Patients and their relatives about their Cardiac conditions.
Knowledge of current government guide lines for breech dates and escalate potential patients.
Knowledge of electronic transfers of Angiogram results to the Tertiary Centre on the Medcon System.
Knowledge and experience in the use of the Integra System for Private Patients Knowledge of Private Patient protocols, dealing directly with Insurance Companies.
Proven experience in working independently and in problem solving Advanced skills in dealing with the public Able to manage and prioritise own workload independently Exemplary Time Management Knowledge of current healthcare issues, specifically around Cardiology waiting times etc.
Attend and participate in cross site meetings.
Empathy with Patients and their Relatives.
Desirable Previous Cardiology admin experience Excellent knowledge of Medical and Cardiology terminology Knowledge of the Telepath System Skills Essential Knowledge of patient call centre.
