An outstanding opening for a corporate partner to join the Bristol office of this progressive, forward moving Top 50 national law firm. Our client has an exceptional reputation for corporate law and is home to an award-winning team which handles transactional work including high value corporate M&A, private equity, equity capital markets and financing work on behalf of major listed businesses, PLCs, owner managed businesses, partnerships, SMEs and funders. The firm is active in a range of sectors including retail, IT, real estate and manufacturing. As part of a considered focus on inward investment, our client seeks to strengthen their Bristol corporate team with the appointment of a high-profile corporate partner. This role would suit an experienced corporate partner already practising in the South West and/or an individual with plans to relocate to from another centre or London. This is a key appointment for the firm, central to the firm's strategic objectives for 2024. As an experienced corporate dealmaker, you'll bring proven technical skills including a solid track record of leading on complex, high value corporate transactions. You'll have demonstrable networking, marketing and business development skills as well as the ability to win quality work from and build strong relationships with new and existing clients. The ability to help drive incremental growth in the corporate team is of particular interest to the firm's management team. This is a key role offering a merit based, supportive and driven partnership platform, high levels of autonomy, flexibility and client focus as well as a highly competitive and multi-faceted rewards structure.
