SC Cleared Data Governance Consultant (Inside IR35)About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SC Cleared Data Governance Consultant to join our team on a 6-month contract.
You will be working on critical projects within the defence sector, contributing to the development and implementation of robust data governance frameworks.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and proceduresConduct data quality assessments and identify improvement opportunitiesManage data risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.G., GDPR, DPA)Collaborate with stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountabilityProvide guidance on data management best practices and methodologiesSupport data migration and integration activitiesConduct data audits and reviews to assess compliance and effectivenessRequired Skills and Experience:Active SC clearance is essentialStrong understanding of data governance principles and frameworksCertification in Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar is highly desirableProven experience in data quality management and improvementKnowledge of data privacy regulations and industry standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsContract Details:Inside IR35Daily rate: £500 - £550 per dayContract duration: 6 monthsRegular travel to a site in the Bristol area
