Prichard's are looking to hire experienced and motivated General Foreman.
Key Responsibilities: Manage, lead, motivate, train and supervise your team of operatives and workers Safety - Supervise and ensure all operatives fully comply and adhere to all company Health, Safety, and Environmental Polices, and Procedures.
Deliver site inductions and daily briefings Check drawings to make sure they are correct and up to date with designers Ensure the safe operation of the site Plan works, assist in developing work programmes and place orders for materials Complete and maintain accurate site records of work performed and materials used.
To carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of management Plant Security, Damage and defects - Ensure plant is safely parked and secured on site, with any damage or defects reported immediately.
- Key Skills and Requirements : Strong leadership and management abilities Experience of leading, managing and developing others Ability to work calmly under pressure with minimal supervision Understanding of operation and maintenance requirements of plant and machinery Groundwork / earthworks experience Understanding of drawings and specifications Ability to measure and quantify materials, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Experience in setting levels and measuring up Hold a valid UK driving license Valid up to date CSCS, CPCS or NPORS SSSTS (desirable) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of construction processes and techniques Problem-solving and decision-making skills Attention to detail and quality control Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
