Job description Job responsibilities ROLE PURPOSE / SUMMARYThe Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System will comprise the Integrated Care Board (ICB), which is the statutory body for the NHS, and the Integrated Care Partnership (ICP), which is a committee of the ICB, and brings together key health, care, community, and voluntary sector organisations across the area.The ICS has a bold ambition to deliver improved outcomes for our population through our four Alliances, and we are placing clinical and professional leadership and the voice of our residents at the heart of realizing this ambition.The Quality Support Nurse Manager will be integral to supporting the delivery of the core purpose of the Nursing and Quality Directorate, to improve outcomes by promoting adherence to clinical policies, procedures and standards thus enabling services to operate in a safe and effective way.
The role will contribute towards providing the Integrated Care Board with assurance of providers continuing commitment to a credible and focused quality strategy.
The postholder will be expected to promote a culture of professional standards and service delivery that enhances and maximises safe outcomes for all residents through assurance and effective quality systems, and to share improvements and learning.
They will contribute towards the management of relationships and the systems dealings with CQC (and other regulators) to help secure positive results from inspections.
