We are looking for an experienced Environmental Trainer/ Lead Trainer to join Astutis, part of Wilmington plc.
Here, you'll be delivering meaningful environmental and sustainability-focused training to our learners, developing innovative learning materials and influencing our future environmental and sustainability practices.

As our Trainer, you'll bedelivering training courses, supporting course development, and working closely with clients to deliver environmental consulting solutions.
You will be responsible for: Delivering engaging IEMA training and other equivalent courses, both in-person and virtually.
Supporting course development with yoursubject matter expertise and authoring course materials.
Advising and guiding learners throughout their studies.
Collaborating with the wider Astutis team to build our course portfolio based on emerging trends and client needs.
Delivering consulting solutions on environmental and sustainability topics for clients.
Supporting marketing campaigns and creating blogs and educational content to promote public knowledge of environmental issues.
Acting as a customer representative to ensure that contracts are fulfilled in line with expectations.

You'll play a central role in shaping the future of environmental and sustainability training at Astutis, positively impacting our learners, clients, and the wider community.
Not only will you be putting your teaching skills to use, you'll be inputting into future courses and course content.
You'll be seen as a true subject matter expert
Whats the Most Challenging Thing About This Role?
Balancing the demands of course delivery, development, and client consulting requires strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
To be successful in this role, you must have: Experience delivering IEMA or equivalent training courses.
Demonstrable experience in a similar role in the Environmental Services sector.
Environmental and sustainability qualifications, with a genuine passion for the subject.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage with senior decision-makers (C-suite).
Proficiency in business IT applications such as MS Teams, Zoom, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
It would be great if you also have: Experience in the HSE or corporate training services sector.
A background in learning design and course development.
Experience delivering NEBOSH or IOSH training courses.
Senior management experience in this field.
