Main duties of the job We will ensure that this role offers you the opportunity to: broaden depth of psychological knowledge and experience Support with doctorate applications Support clinicians, as well as opportunities in service evaluations and audit alongside direct clinical work Deliver evidence-based practice as part of a multi-disciplinary team Gain experience in eating disorders including ARFID Gain experience in a wide range of psychological difficulties such as depression, anxiety, trauma and phobias Supervised by clinical psychologist Opportunities to develop skills in group work Gain greater mental health experience linking with the different pathways including Moods, Emotions, and Relationships, and Neurodiversity About us Successful applicants will be employed byDevon Partnership Trust ( )Children and Family Health Devon(CFHD) comprises an Alliance of NHS organisations working together to improvehealth outcomes for children and young people in Devon, including;Torbay and South Devon FT Devon Partnership NHS Trust CFHD provides integrated care andtreatment for children and young people across physical and mental health.

Please refer to your suitability to the post in your supportinginformation from the role requirements or person specification.Contribute arange of psychological services to the clients of the Children and FamilyHealth Devon (CFHD), under the supervision of a qualified ClinicalPsychologist.
Undertake psychologicalscreening, assessment and interventions with children and their parents/carerspresenting with a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties; this willinclude producing reports, direct and indirect individual and group work.Work independentlyto an appropriate level, under supervision and abiding by the professionalguidelines and code of conduct for registered clinical psychologists.
Supportresearch activity including audit, service evaluation, literature reviews andresearch as required and in agreement with the Clinical Psychology Lead andmanagers of the service.
The post-holder is responsible for his/her ownworkload, but is expected to engage with regular supervision from a qualifiedClinical Psychologist and review through the management process.
Person Specification Experience Essential Experience in working with children, young people and families.
Desirable Experience of working with children and young people with emotional and mental health difficulties, in a clinical or healthcare environment and / or community-based setting Knowledge, skills and abilities Essential Ability to travel and work in a variety of locations, clinic base, schools, home visits.
The post holder must demonstrate a commitment to research and engage in a programme of research activity and audit as required.
Ability to translate basic psychological theory to clinical populations in a clinical setting.
High standard of report writing Qualifications Essential Bachelor Degree at Honours level, giving eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society Desirable Further postgraduate training in relevant area of professional psychology, health and social care practice and/or research design and analysis.
