Job summary This is an opportunity to join the award-winning team at Avery Healthcare as a Senior Care Assistant.
You will be responsible for supporting the care team in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to residents, ensuring a safe, caring, and inclusive environment.
The role involves monitoring resident wellbeing, participating in care planning, and providing medication support.
You will also undertake staff supervisions and act as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
Main duties of the job As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
You will be responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centered care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions.
You will also act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals.

If this sounds like the place for you, wed love to hear from youABOUT THE ROLEYour focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.Other responsibilitieswillinclude: Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in your application, youwill live our values of caring,supportive,honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.Our ideal candidatemust: Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment.
Have the ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
