Key Responsibilities Plan, implement, and monitor the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of all children and aligns with the school's overall educational philosophy.
Recruit, train, and supervise preschool staff, including qualified staff members and trainees.
Ensure that all staff are following best practices and adhering to relevant regulations.
Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios in accordance with EYFS guidelines, including supervision of trainees as required.
Prioritize the safety and well-being of children, ensuring that the preschool environment is secure and conducive to learning Build strong relationships with parents, communicating effectively and involving them in their child's education.
Oversee the daily operation of the preschool room, including organization of resources, cleaning, and maintenance.
Monitor the quality of education and care provided, ensuring that the preschool meets or exceeds relevant standards.
Requirements Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent Proven experience in early years education and care Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of the EYFS framework and relevant regulations Benefits: Very competitive salary
