Key Responsibilities: Undertake routine and emergency site repairs, redecoration, maintenance and refurbishment work to all areas of the school Carry out a variety of routine repairs and maintenance to ensure the schools facilities are in top condition Operate and maintain tools, equipment and materials efficiently to complete jobs to a high standard Collaborate with the team to provide support across the schools facilities as needed Ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are adhered to and always maintained Key Skills: Proactive self-starter with enthusiasm for delivering high-quality results Strong practical skills in building maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and basic electrical work Flexible and willing to take on a diverse range of tasks to support the school Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Trustworthy, reliable, and always prioritises Health & Safety in all tasks Strong team player, happy to assist colleagues when needed Holds a valid UK Drivers Licence A full DBS check is required for this role Personal Profile: Proven experience in building, grounds, or facilities maintenance Confident in the use of a wide range of hand and power tools Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks as required Excellent teamwork and communication skills Hardworking, adaptable, and detail-oriented Salary & Benefits: £29,000 Monday to Friday, 08.00 16.30 Generous Pension Contribution 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Complimentary daily lunch during term time Uniform and all PPE provided Free onsite parking and a supportive team environment Please note: Due to the location, you will need access to your own transport.
