Job Description At Murrayfield Nursery in North Edinburgh, we are offering the opportunity for an Early Years Apprentice to join us, work whilst you learn.
The Murrayfield Nursery is part of CC Nurseries and is based in Edinburgh, at our busy 90 place nursery we offer a home-from-home environment, led by our passionate and caring team, our nursery is filled with hand-picked resources (natural where possible) to encourage self-directed play and discovery. Outside we have a large, secure outdoor space including a fire pit, a fishpond and an outdoor classroom, as well as a separate area for the youngest children, to enjoy fun. CC Nurseries offers enriched working environments and opportunities for further qualifications and career progression.
Requirements As an Early Years Apprentice you will: Learn whilst Working Work to Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the Curriculum for Excellence are met .
