Quality Inspector

Job Title: Quality Inspector Location: Pershore Salary: £12.58 per hour Shift: Monday to Friday Basis: Permanent  Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our clients team in Pershore.
In this role, you will ensure that products meet the highest quality standards by conducting detailed inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
You will work with various measuring equipment and collaborate with management to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Duties: Ensure safety is always a prime consideration by maintaining the health, safety, and welfare of yourself, colleagues, and the environment.
Inspect manufactured items during the production process and upon completion, checking dimensions, paint thicknesses, and gloss levels.
Carry out component inspections using manual measuring equipment and the Faro Arm.
Process first-off inspection components to ensure they meet approved design data and quality control requirements.
Assist in completing FAI (First Article Inspection) reports as required.
Maintain inspection and process records, including management documentation required by the company.
Requirements: Ability to use and maintain all measuring equipment (Vernier calipers, height gauges, Faro Arm, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Sound understanding of inspection techniques for fabrications and welded parts.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality policies and system requirements.
Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Previous experience as a Quality Inspector.
