Join our team as a Goods In Operative based at our distribution centre in Tankersley.
We are looking for hard working individuals that are enthusiastic and enjoy a challenge to join our warehouse team at our Distribution Centre in Tankersley, South Yorkshire.
Someone who have strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will work as part of a team within a busy chill warehouse environment.
Previous Goods In experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment maybe useful, however full training will be given.

Details of Location and Shift pattern: Hours 37.5 hours per week working Tuesday to Saturday The working hours are from 6am to 2pm, Tuesday to Friday, and from 8am to 4pm on Saturdays.
Location – Company Shop Group, Tankersley Distribution Centre, Wentworth Way, Wentworth Industrial Estate, Tankersley, Barnsley, South Yorkshire S75 3DH Rate of pay – £11.50 per hour, paid on a four weekly basis Requirements Accountabilities and responsibilities: Checking Goods into the Warehouse when a delivery is unloaded Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
Taking sorted stock to the appropriate storage space or arranging for the appropriate vehicle to move the stock Keeping accurate records of stock on the warehouse management system, so it can be located quickly Ensure that products are stored safely and labelled/disclaimed correctly and safely and Supervisor or Manager are advised of any items that are not correct Adhere to all environmental, food safety and quality/ hygiene procedures when undertaking duties Processing the product through various packing lines and processes ensure food safety, brand protection and legality The use of machines and equipment may be required to process the products Sorting, checking, weighing, labelling and ink-jetting products Picking orders using a hand-held scanner from the storage space and taking to the packing teams Place stock on pallets, ensuring it is then correctly wrapped and labelled ready for delivery to the stores Organising transfers and loading goods on to delivery vehicles Ensure that all areas are kept to a high standard Ensure that all paperwork is completed in a timely and efficient manner using the correct document and system The use of technology to input data Ensure all Health & Safety processes are followed at all times Ensure that KPI's are achieved What we require from you: A can do attitude Reliability and commitment to work Dedication and enthusiasm Good communication skills Ability to work as part of a team to deliver results Benefits What's in it for you: Free membership to Company Shop for you and 10 x nominees Annual Flu Injections, high street & leisure vouchers, and on-site Parking Onsite café, Free Tea & Coffee, and Free Fruit Friday Employee Assistance Programme – Grocery Aid Eligible for Costco membership, Cycle 2 Work, and UK Fuel card discounts Contributory pension scheme with death in service benefit Join us on the journey:  Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of something extraordinary.
