Audit & Risk Recruitment have partnered with one of the UK's leading financial service companies to hire an ambitious IT internal audit manager
Hybrid in office 1 day per week
Our client's industry leading Internal Audit function has an exciting opportunity for an IT Internal Audit Manager to step up and lead on IT Audits across the group
You'll partner with key stakeholders across IT, internal audit and Information Security to understand the IT risk landscape as it relates to technology and information security.
This is an autonomous role where you will develop and enhance the IT Audit methodology and strategy to ensure Internal Audit keeps pace with a dynamic and fast changing business.
You will also have numerous opportunities to lead the IT audit and risk plans for the group, working across IT infrastructure, IT risk, complex IT security controls and more

Some of your key duties will include: Working with senior stakeholder across the group to continue to foster a strong and productive IT risk culture Delivery of core IT audit capabilities, partnering with the business to provide robust and challenging insights Build credibility and trust with business stakeholders, to further enhance Internal Audit's reputation as an objective and trustworthy business partner Person specification: You'll have a proven track record in IT audit.
You'll have exceptional communication skills with strong ability to build relationships across the business.
You will also have: Strong stakeholder management in a maturing risk environment At least 4 years experience in the IT Audit space The attitude to step up and become a leader, guiding the direction of IT Audits across the firm Strategically and commercially aware with a strong degree of business acumen and focus on risk Ability to communicate effectively and translate concepts in a clear and concise way Audit & Risk Recruitment
