We are seeking an experienced and proactive EHS Lead to work on site in Cheshunt, UK. Reporting to the HSEQ Director and Managing Director, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence and improve our EHS programs across all construction activities. As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance, and leading initiatives that align with our strategic growth goals. Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews of work practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Lead the development and execution of the strategic vision for EHS excellence across all construction projects, ensuring safety is prioritized at every stage. Provide expert guidance and coaching to senior construction management, ensuring all site actions are aligned with company safety policies and best practices. Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of all required EHS documentation, ensuring records are accurate and in compliance with established procedures. Develop and implement proactive EHS objectives that support the company's long-term growth, improving both safety performance and regulatory compliance. Coordinate and manage the filing of site audits, investigations, and corrective actions to ensure ongoing improvements. Lead the planning and delivery of EHS training to meet regulatory standards and enhance safety awareness and performance across the company. Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support EHS initiatives and drive company-wide success. Mentor, coach, and develop new and existing EHS Advisor team members, ensuring a high level of knowledge and capability within the team. Requirements: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar EHS role, with a proven track record of driving improvements and managing safety programs. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field. Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence and build respect at all levels of the organization. Experience managing change and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in using safety management software and standard office tools.
